AshHomes GTA ("we", "us") is the real estate website of Ash Ahluwalia, Realtor, operating in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, property address and any message details when you submit a form (consultation requests, home valuations, rent vs buy analysis, newsletter sign-up, showing requests); your name, email and password (or Google account profile) when you create an account.
Information collected automatically: pages visited, listings viewed and saved, searches, calculator use, buttons clicked, approximate location, device and browser type. This is collected through our own activity log and through Google Analytics 4 cookies.
To respond to your inquiries and arrange showings; to provide account features such as saved listings; to send you market updates and listing information you have requested; to understand how the website is used so we can improve it; and to operate our business, including managing client relationships in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
By submitting a form you consent to being contacted about your request. Newsletter subscribers receive marketing email only after subscribing (express consent), and every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link. You may withdraw consent at any time by using that link or contacting us directly.
We do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with service providers who help us run this website and our business: our CRM platform (BoldTrail / kvCORE) for managing inquiries; our website database and authentication provider; Google (Analytics, and Sign-In if you choose Google login); and email delivery services. Each provider may store data outside Canada (typically in the United States) and is bound by its own safeguards. We may also disclose information where required by law or by our obligations as a registered real estate professional.
We use Google Analytics 4 cookies to measure site usage, and local browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your saved listings. You can block cookies in your browser settings; core browsing will still work. To opt out of Google Analytics across the web, see Google's opt-out browser add-on.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law and real estate regulations (transaction-related records are retained per the Trust in Real Estate Services Act and brokerage policy). Data is stored with reputable providers using encryption in transit and at rest, and access is limited to Ash and authorized service providers.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, ask what we hold about you and how it has been used, withdraw consent, or close your account at any time. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time; the date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
